Multiple transactions
I am happy with the transaction and just waiting on the second to be delivered. I knew up front that this would take longer than previous deliveries due to the silver shortage.
Joe has been fantastic. When he was out sick during the last transaction, the two people standing in for him did great as well.

I have received 2 orders so far. The first order was shipped quickly, the second order not quickly.
I was dealing with Kris, a very nice person. Not pushy and answered questions. I had a time getting answers, but it was not Kris's fault. Their phone system appeared temperamental, but it all worked out.

Great help from David Juame
I really like working with David Juame because he has been extremely professional and helpful. I am a first time investor in precious metals and feel there was a big learning curve....David spent the time to share his knowledge and insight and never made me feel uncomfortable or, quite honestly, like the 'newbie' that I am.
He has been patient and took the time to explain many details of the industry that I was not familiar with. And did this without arrogance or intimidation. He has been very personable --even thought we have not had a long relationship, I felt like he tried to know who I was---not just another client or phone call....I feel he is a genuinly nice person who likes to help people. Not once did he treat me like I was lesser.
He followed up exactly as he indicated and contacted me everytime he said that he would; notified me IN ADVANCE of my shipment so I could make arrangements to be home. At the same time, I have had a very different experience with another precious metals dealer--a well known company, but I am working with one of the (many) brokers within in it....and I felt completely the opposite after my engagement: like I was a real beginner with no knowlege or ability to learn. Intimidated and shamed by my lack of knowledge. This guy also treated me like just another phone call...his 'hurry up and get to the order' kind of style did not make me want to contact him with any questions or ---more importantly--another order.
I got only an email from him the day OF my delivery and had to scramble with schedules to ensure that I could receive. It was a very off-putting experience.
I have been in sales most of my life and the old adage, 'you do business with people you like' rings very true....When I choose to invest in more precious metals, I know who I will be contacting. by Susan G

Online purchase
I’m happy with how my transaction went, and I received my package. I was an online purchaser.
I was kind of confused at first about getting a cashier's check and mailing it in, but ultimately everything was fine.
I definitely called customer care a few times, and they readily helped me out. Denis H.
Good products
Working with Adam was a positive experience, as he was very informative and helpful throughout the selection & purchasing process. The products I received were in the expected condition, some older coins along with bars and items.
Things I'd like to see them improve on: Their delivery time seemed very slow, approximately 3 weeks. Also, I would like to see a more thorough break down of the costs involved with the purchases. Thank you!

Shipping Issues
I've enjoyed working with Gerald. The first time I ordered a significant amount of gold, it was left on my doorstep!
No signature and I was gone all day! So when I placed my second, significant order, I specified that I absolutely did not want my order left unattended or left without a physical signature. The order was again left, this time in my garage when I wasn't home and I had a house full of contractors! The package was clearly labeled "do not leave unattended" and "physical signature required" so this is not the fault of Lear Capital.
Update: Lear Capital followed up with me on my concerns and went above and beyond to make this right, even though the shipping issues were no fault of their own.
I appreciate the follow up as the customer service I received up until the shipping issues was top notch...so I am changing my rating to 5 stars. by Deb L
